The Leadership and Management Pathways Program (LAMPP) is a professional development initiative designed to build the leadership capacity of frontline staff, supervisors, and new managers. Through LAMPP, organizations can address specific training needs across facilities, offices, departments, or shifts—creating a consistent foundation of strong, adaptive, and effective leadership throughout the organization.

LAMPP offers a practical, applied learning experience that blends leadership theory with day-to-day management realities. Participants gain the tools, confidence, and insight needed to lead with integrity, influence others, and drive organizational success.

The LAMPP Program has been successfully implemented across multiple Virginia state facilities and departments to enhance leadership readiness and strengthen operational performance. Each cohort is tailored to meet the unique culture and goals of the host organization, ensuring that the program directly supports agency mission and staff development priorities.

In addition to these core competencies, the LAMPP curriculum incorporates organizational development, project management, and strategic planning tools. Participants also engage in public speaking training and presentation exercises, gaining confidence and communication skills essential for effective leadership.
